VALLARTA REAL ESTATE FAIR 2020 CONNECTS WOULD-BE BUYERS, OWNERS AND SELLERS WITH LEGAL, TAXATION, REAL ESTATE AND LIFESTYLE PROFESSIONALS
For the eighth year in a row, the Rivera Molino Plaza in the Zona Romantica will be the site of the Riviera Nayarit’s most significant public real estate event—the VALLARTA REAL ESTATE FAIR—taking place on Saturday, February 15th. Despite its name, the fair is a highly valuable information experience for buyers, sellers and those currently holding a piece of real estate here to anyone in the Vallarta-Nayarit vicinity.
Timothy Real Estate Group founded the event in 2013 and opened alliances last year, expanding it to all industry colleagues, fostering connection with residents from all over Banderas Bay. Be sure to make a point of venturing to Old Town to partake and I suggest you make a day of it by hitting the Saturday Farmer’s Market just a couple of blocks from the fair and lunch at one of the great Los Muertos oceanfront palapa restaurants.
Attendees can interact face-to-face with legal, notarial, escrow, lending, insurance, tax, banking, rental, property management, construction, design, travel and health professionals and obtain practical information on all aspects of investing and ownership in Mexico. Looking for an insurance agent? Want to know about banking and investment options available to foreigners? Itching to get the year’s best update on real estate trends and statistics on the entire bay including Bucerias?
Participants will be fortunate to have tax specialists from each of Canada, Mexico and the United States to consult about cross-border taxation, which brings me to mention that our own Bucerias resident, Lawrence (Laurie) Winters, who is a Canadian financial advisor, will be there to give insight for Canadians on cross border taxation.
See this welcome video from the event’s founder, Carl Timothy, who will be leading the Market Trends report at the fair’s Panel of Professionals—a series of seminars that have proven to be one of the most popular elements of the fair. This year’s seminars will include a first-time appearance with renowned architect Paulo Rojo sharing his view on local architectural trends and styles over the last 20 years, relative to recent development and growth. Other topics include the mortgage market in Mexico, and buyer and seller’s transaction/closing costs.
