Day-to-Day

Welcoming 2023

Bucerias Life in the Slow Lane has just entered it’s fourth year of publication!

We sincerely thank you, our supportive readers, for inspiring us to continue to bring you stories and insights, and for sharing with us your love of Bucerias. As we approach a milestone of 1000 followers, we are deeply grateful to each of you for accompanying us on our journey.

A special thank you goes to our guest columnists over the past year. Your contributions are sincerely appreciated.

January 11 – “Bucerias Growth”, a topical article submitted by long time local realtor, Colin Maruk.

January 31 – “Bucerias Love”, a description of how Jerry and Janie Jordens discovered Bucerias.

March 19 and April 14 – “The Doors of Bucerias – Parts 1 and 2” – submitted by John and Susan Brook. Beautifully captured, each door is unique, and some photos are extra special, as some of these beauties no longer exist.

March 29 – although not submitted by a reader, “A Lesson in Craft Beer” is an educational look at Aaron Diaz’s brewing process. Kudos here goes to Aaron for the commentary, and Mark Spink, who took home the Oscar for best taste-tester.

August 5 – “A Rose in Bucerias” is a story of how Rose, our friend and passionate Bucerias ambassador, came to find her paradise.

This new year, we wish you and your loved ones blessings of good health and happiness, and a few new adventures!
